Written and directed by Puja Jatinder Bedi, this staggeringly silly film has a plot so convoluted and far-fetched, you’ll be rolling your eyes more than the ghosts in this film do.The film doesn’t have any good scares to speak of, just lots of bad dialogue and a laughable background score.Ghost isn’t even one of those films that’s so bad, it’s fun to watch. No, it’s utterly and entirely painful and tiring to sit through, because every inconsequential detail is repeated over and over again, and all that the characters in this film do is state the obvious.I’m going with a generous half out of five, yes half out of five for Ghost.

The problem with GHOST is that the scares are scarce, despite some twists and turns injected in the plotline. Regrettably, the story goes for a toss thanks to the interrupting song and dance routine [with autopilot choreography], the listless romantic track between the lead pair [looks completely forced in the narrative] and a patchy screenplay.GHOST boasts of a couple of spine-tingling scary scenes, but a few spooky scenes does not a horror film make. On the whole, the scares in GHOST are inadequate and ineffectual. One expected so much more from the scary movie.

Ghost is the kind of film you should never watch alone. Not because it will spook you but for the only reason that mazaa toh sab ke saath aata hain! Fun is always multiplied when shared with friends and Ghost belongs to that genre of unintentionally funny films that enjoy cult status with connoisseurs of, what one may call as, accidental entertainment.Coming back to its original fan-club, Ghost is killer stuff in the unintentionally funny zone. Just ensure you have likeminded company and be prepared to laugh like hell!

Ghost is so effective, it left this reviewer mentally scarred. Like most horror films, this is a revenge drama. And the ‘ghost’ is a wronged firang. Ooh, new that!.Good wins over evil and we know it. And that’s why it’s a cliché. Ghost milks this idea until we start wishing for good to lose over evil for the rest of the decade.Can’t say about getting scared, scarred you most likely will be.If adventure is your thing, go on, have a good laugh but don’t complain you weren’t warned.

This GHOST is a nuisance. The directors needs to learn the ABC of scripting before venturing into a horror story. What he does know is to keep the lighting low and make scary background sounds. Apart from that he just scratches the surface.At least, the Ramsay brothers, whose name is synonymous with horror films, had a set formula which made sense. This one is comical in its approach.

What seems like a simple story about deceit and revenge, turns out to be a pure example of stuffing myriad thoughts which distort the original script. Too many aspects to a horror film that tries to show revenge, karma and philosophy in a very amateurish manner makes the movie tasteless. The first half of Ghost is wasted in establishing connect to the story and failed efforts to churn out chemistry between the lead actors. Second half creates few moments of thrill, but by then it’s too late. An effort to experiment with the horror genre with the help of special effects is decent. Those who are missing some horrifying moments can give it a shot, without many expectations attached to the attempt. Ghost is not recommended for those who don’t appreciate gross brutality on screen. Shiney Ahuja’s fans, who have been missing him won’t find anything spectacular to take home.

A comedy yet again as expected in the name of Horror, ‘Ghost’ is a complete non-entertainer. There is nothing that the film can boast about in its favour. The love story injected totally makes no sense and the director seems amateurish in her craft. Shiney Ahuja is no doubt a good actor but could not do much in this film that was weak in its basics. Not even a once watch
