Mr. Bhatti On Chutti Movie Review
Ratings:1/5 Reviewer:Taran Adarsh Site:Bollywood Hungama
Well, if MR. BHATTI ON CHUTTI is meant to be a tribute to Mr. Bean, all I can say is that it's more of an appalling imitation. On the surface, MR. BHATTI ON CHUTTI is a comedy, but the intent is to offer more than a few laughs. The protagonist dreams of a peace plan in a world devastated by warfare and starvation. The concept may be attention-grabbing, but the writing as well as the execution of the material fails to do justice to a noble thought. A few comic scenes do raise a chuckle, but the outcome is completely puerile. The screenplay is juvenile and on numerous junctures makes you squirm in your seat. On the whole, MR. BHATTI ON CHUTTI is an amateurish attempt.Visit Site for more

But for me when a film's humour has to rely on Anupam Kher's forced, jerky and somewhat convulsive body movements rather than his superior acting skills, there is something wrong somewhere. A twitchy guy who keeps blabbering and stumbling is certainly not my brand of humour.Through some twists and turns in the plot, the trip goes awry for Bhatti and the movie for the viewer. The slapstick quotient increases and situations designed to elicit laughter fail to amuse. I mean seriously, how funny is a guy who forgets to shut his umbrella when it stops raining? As the film nears the end, there is some talk of humanity, Gandhi, Mandela and Martin Luther King -- something about putting a stop to all the violence and animosity. That's all that I can remember. I wish I could tell you more about this one. If only I'd been awake...Visit Site for more

Director Karan Razdan, probably had a noble message in mind, but he lost the plot on the runway itself. With poor production quality, tacky editing, mediocre supporting cast, and sketchy characters that are written with little attention or aspiration, the Misadventures of Bhatti, ends up being an ensemble of embarrassing desis caught in a chor-police story in phoren land. Watch this 'bean'-there, seen-that movie, only if you want your brains to go on a permanent vacation.Visit Site for more
