Debutante director Rahul Aggarwal also, very respectfully, credits his inspiration to Hrishi-da and his first outing NA GHAR KE NA GHAAT KE mirrors the fact at several points of the narrative. The protagonist in the film is like any other non-descript person you set your eyes on the street, who is as helpless as you and me in a life-changing situation. A film like NA GHAR KE NA GHAAT KE ought to have a simple, uncomplicated plotline and actors who can pull off these roles without 'acting' those parts. While the writing is interesting at times and wobbly at places [the climax is weak], the set of actors are more or less believable. Final word? NA GHAR KE NA GHAAT KE may not be that small little gem that sparkles brightly even in the dark, but it's an earnest effort from a first-time storyteller [Rahul Aggarwal] nonetheless.

The intentions are noble. Debutant director, Rahul Aggarwal has a point to make. He wants to tell a certain Mr Thackeray that all izz well between the quintessential Mumbaikar and the migrant bhaiyya from UP and Bihar. Left to themselves, they can not only live together, despite their cultural and linguistic differences, but might also end up as buddies and brothers.
Devki's trip from his village to Mumbai too does have its moments.But, beyond the rib-tickling moments provided by these two stalwarts, there's not too much to keep the laughs coming. The second half just peters off into cuckoo land, as Devki's newly-wedded wife, Narayani Shastri, ends up in the lock-up and the entire drama is focussed on how to get her out. Nice message. Amateur attempt. Moments of fun.

Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke seems like a genuine effort gone wrong.The film uses a lot of humor, however its fails to create an impact. The story talks about the life of a simple man, Devki Nandan Tripathi (Rahul Aggrawal) who is very honest and simplistic in nature.The title, Na Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke somehow doesn't seem to go with the storyline. Yet another flaw that hits you hard is the dialect that doesn't seem to match at all..Overall, the film doesn't impress you much but its genuine effort cannot be overruled. You can afford to miss this one.

I went to this one strictly because of the first three names : how bad could it get, after all, when these stalwarts get together?I’ve got news : it’s worse.This was meant to be gentle satire on how people can be fish out of water when they are away from their natural habitat. But what it turns out to be is a loud, unfunny diatribe, where every single character acts away madly.I lasted 45 minutes by the clock, and I counted every one of them.
