Vulgar, loud and entirely pointless, Do Knot Disturb has virtually nothing to offer anyone with even half a brain. At best, Rajpal Yadav scores a few chuckles with his manic physical comedy.I'm going with one out of five and a thumbs-down for director David Dhawan's Do Knot Disturb. It's hard to believe this film was actually directed by someone. Was David Dhawan ever on the set at all? Perhaps Sushmita Sen ate him! That answers two important questions.

Actually, DO KNOT DISTURB rests on a thin plot and David relies on gags and jokes to keep you hooked for those 2 + hours. Even though you realise that there's not much meat in the story, even though the situations are silly, you remain glued to the proceedings because it keeps you in splits thanks to the funny jokes and the weird characters. So what's the verdict? DO KNOT DISTURB is sure to keep you smiling from start to end. A few portions may even prompt you to laugh aloud or break into a guffaw. If non-stop mindless entertainment is on your mind, this recipe is just for you. Do Knot miss this one!.On the whole, DO KNOT DISTURB is a mass entertainer that keeps you entertained and smiling/laughing in most parts.

But everything in the world of films has a shelf life. And Do Knot Disturb, a bedroom farce that's only occasionally funny, gives you a feeling of old wine in new bottle.the movie never becomes the zany comedy it's supposed to be.Like the director, Govinda tries hard too. And his loyal single-screen fans might still enjoy the way he says, Dolly, Dolly¸ Dolly, every time he sees the stunning Lara Dutta. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the movie's other beauty queen Sushmita Sen. The real scene stealer is Rajpal Yadav. Getting slapped was never funnier.

Unfortunately, Do Knot Disturb falls way short of expectations and you start wondering if the director has lost his magic touch. The trouble with the film is its story. It's so weak that one cannot expect the actors to do their comic act and keep the audiences entertained.Govinda and Ritesh do well but the script fails them. The film has some good one-liners but that is not what you expect from a David Dhawan film. Do Knot Disturb yourself this weekend on this film.

It pains to see the comic genius of the trio of Govinda, Riteish Deshmukh and Ranvir Shorey to be criminally wasted in a shoddy script. Fun lies behind closed doors’ reads the tagline of the film. One would rather close doors to such farcical fun. It’s time directors STOP taking the viewer for granted. Take the cue from the title. Do not bother to disturb yourself for this deafening drama.

Do Knot Disturb is exhaustingly bad. Once upon a time, the combination of producer Vashu Baghnani, director David Dhawan and actor Govinda was short-hand for mindless but riotously funny comedy. director David Dhawan sets the bar sufficiently low and for the next two hours, he makes little attempt to raise it.But the unkindest cut is that they have reduced one of Bollywood’s most elegant actresses Sushmita Sen to an overweight eyesore. I’m assuming her chunky size is the excuse for why her husband strays. Which makes it even more offensive because Govinda isn’t exactly flaunting six pack abs himself. This is cinema as punishment. Steer clear.

`Do Knot Disturb’ begins as it means to go along – with a gag so bedraggled that it should have been left out of the door, long, long ago. This bunch goes round and round, occasionally raising a feeble laugh. And maybe a guffaw or two. But the film is a sad reminder of the glory days of Govinda and Dhawan, when the director with the snappiest sense of rhythm teamed with the best comic in the business and delivered us unto unfettered laughter

David Dhawan tries the Anees Bazmee approach of packing in lots of characters in one location and creating a chain of confusion. But Dhawan's execution never reaches the crazy heights to ensure sustained laughter. Instead it's a handful of genuinely hilarious sequences that keep the ship afloat. Govinda and David Dhawan have made us laugh a lot more in the past. And this is certainly below par for them. Watch it if you are looking for handful a of chuckles. Do not expect more.
