Golmaal 3 has even less by way of plot than 2008’s Golmaal Returns. Following a pattern set by Golmaal Returns, this film is not so much about story or plot as it is about stretching a joke till breaking point.The few genuinely comic moments are provided by Mithun Chakraborty and his willingness to spoof his own popular 80s films. Only Tusshar Kapoor appears to be having any fun with his character, returning as the mute Lucky who must be interpreted to be understood.I’m going with two out of five for director Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 3. The best thing about G-3 is that it lives up to its undertaking of amusing you from the word go, till the very culmination. From inception to conclusion, save for a few lax moments, G-3 is high on fun and entertainment quotient. The writing, I wish to forewarn, defies logic, sense and reason, therefore one has to go with the flow. It has a skeletal plot, but is packed with jokes, jibes, pranks and of course.Any hiccups? The climax could have been a little more imaginative. It follows the trademark Priyadarshan style of getting together the entire cast, including supporting actors to villain sidekicks, for the finale.On the whole, GOLMAAL 3 is an ideal fun ride. Go on, have a blast and make this Diwali thrice more entertaining for you. An out-and-out entertainer, it's sure to light up the celebratory festive mood.Visit Site for More

Of course, it's a no-brainer comedy and isn't meant for people who prefer wisdom in wit too. And only the foolish would go hunting for a meaning in the madcap antics that explode on the screen as the ensemble cast assiduously sets aside the high brow for slapstick. But no one's complaining. Because Ajay Devgn's angry explosions, Tusshar Kapoor's verbal antics, Arshad Warsi's rougish revelry, Sanjay Mishra's delightful mis-spellings...are all rib-tickling stuff. The film needs to be pruned in places, specially since the comic acts get repetitive. But by and large, there's a laugh riot waiting for you at the multiplex, this weekend. The best thing that can be said about Golmaal 3 is that it both enters and exits your system rather comprehensively, leaving behind nothing either memorable or of consequence.The only genuine fun had by anyone in this movie -- and that includes us, sitting in the audience -- is by Tushhar having a blast with his mute routine, the actor using pelvis more than eyes to mime his way energetically through a script that expects us to laugh at one actor's stammer and another's lack of voice.I wasn't looking for sensitivity or smarts in Golmaal 3. The third in the Golmaal series, this one is a farcical comedy without much of a story. Inspired by the television serial, Family No. 1, and the film, Khatta Meetha (old), it is more of an assemblage of funny sequences pieced together in a screenplay by writer Yunus Sajawal. As the story line is thin and not even new or fresh, the emphasis is more on creating laughter in individual scenes. While the attempt is successful upto a point, the monotony in the drama and the lack of an engrossing story hit the audience, especially after interval. No doubt, some scenes in the first half and a few after interval are absolutely hilarious and bring the house down with laughter, but then, there are also scenes which are designed to evoke laughter and fail.On the whole, Golmaal 3 is an average fare. Although there are some hilarious sequences, the lack of an engaging story and the mismatch of comedy and sentiments in the drama will come in the way of its long run.Visit Site for More

It's a poor boy, rich girl spoof. And it's the size of an entire movie. It could have been a skit on MTV or Channel V. If it hasn't appeared there already. Actually this whole film could've been a series of second rate gags on a show like Laughter Challenge.The filmmakers believe if they can have one gag for each actor, few corny dialogues from everyone, they should be set.Who knows. They're probably right. This is an entertainment starved audience. And it is a festive weekend. After all "Jab Harsha hai toh Bhogle hai. Jab Asha hai toh Bhosle hai." Like the previous two films, GOLMAAL 3 doesn't boast of a splendid storyline and relies basically on the gags and the performances. It oscillates between being tremendously hilarious and tremendously boring.You wish the writing was more consistent. It starts on positive and funny note but doesn't manage to hang on to it. However, it comes back strongly in the zany climax, involving the entire cast.If you enjoyed watching GOLMAAL and GOLMAAL RETURNS, chances are you'll like GOLMAAL 3. Rohit Shetty has never been much of a one for a coherent plot, and both the previous `Golmaals’ couldn’t be accused of having one. In this outing, the director sticks faithfully to the plan. But Shetty’s third part of the franchise never rises above a cut-and-paste quickie, which needed to be much sillier to really hit the spot. It sparks only in a few parts ( there’s a hilarious silent set between the five men, which tells you just how funny the director can be), as well as a few rib-cracking dialogues.Visit Site for More
