Mohandas is the sort of film that Govind Nihalani and his ilk don't make any more. Not that the film is an angry or persuasive visual document like Aakrosh or Ardh Satya, but director-cinematographer Mazhar Khan's maiden offering shows a willingness to engage and dares to raise uncomfortable questions that feel-good Bollywood prefers to ignore these days Mohandas isn't what is vulgarly called "timepass". It isn't the sort of movie that soothes. But it is engaging and gripping for the larger part.Visit Site for More

If you liked the great parallel cinema of the 1980s like Damul, Mandi and Mirch Masala, you might enjoy Mohandas.The beauty of the film is the story, screenplay and dialogue by Uday Prakash. He has weaved in the story so beautifully that you get deeply engrossed in the film. You really want to find out whether Mohandas gets justice in free and democratic India.The only downside of the film is that it is too hard-hitting. If you are looking for entertainment only, Mohandas is not the film to watch. But if you're in the mood for meaningful cinema, watch Mohandas.
