BAD LUCK GOVIND is the story of a down-on-his-luck young man Govind [Gaurav Kapur]. His luck is such that even cows stop producing milk when he walks by a tabela. Even fresh milk instantly curdles when poured into a cup of tea. On the whole, BAD LUCK GOVIND is a good idea gone terribly wrong. At the box-office, it will run out of luck for sure.

Pure grief. The only slightly amusing aspect of BLGg is Zakir Hussain, the actor not the tabla maestro, who’s shown to develop female characteristics. He even wants to shave his legs. Sorry her legs. Now if you still want to catch up with Ggovind, please wear an amulet, avoid blacks cats and see that you’re not in seat No. 13.

The two USP of Bad Luck Govind could have been its interesting theme and the protagonist’s common man characterization. Unfortunately the film fails on both fronts. Despite having immense potential, the unique storyline isn’t sketched out into a riveting screenplay but ends up into a one-dimensional gang-war track. One feels sad for Bad Luck Govind essentially because the plot had plenty of potential which wasn’t tapped appropriately. Director Varun Khanna fails to use the bad luck to good effect. Better luck next time!

The film tells the story of an unlucky bloke Govind (Gaurav) whose bad luck runs so strong that it immediately passes on to those around him.The film a complete waste of time and not worth even catching on a DVD or a movie channel and you gottta be really unlucky to encounter it.
