The trouble is that we admire her but never get invested in her quest. There is too much posturing and not enough substance. Everyone inhales deeply on cigarettes and says forgettable dialogue like – Let’s cut the crap, shall we? It’s designer grit, powered by a great 80s pop music soundtrack. But it gets tiring fairly quickly. Still, Charlize is such a force of nature that I’m willing to sign up for another installment of her super-cool, super-hero Blonde. I just hope this time we also get a story.Visit Site For More

There are gripping sequences in ‘Atomic Blonde’, and one in particular, that are a clever mix of camera work, editing and innovative fight choreography - enough to justify the cost of a ticket. Unfortunately, this comes at the price of a coherent plot. Leitch isn’t as adept with storytelling, and he’s working with a convoluted screenplay that gives us twists and turns that seem to be thrown in just to make it all mean something. At the end of almost two hours, this gets a tad frustrating.Visit Site For More

Atomic Blonde turns out to be trash of the uncool kind - a B-movie that doesn't even attempt to be clever or cheeky. There isn't a single good line to be heard. Not that you could hear it over the bullets. We can't applaud Atomic Blonde simply for not starring Jean Claude Van Damme. Theron, icy and rugged, is top-notch but Leitch's film is a confused, chaotic chore that tries to do too much - while thinking too little.Visit Site For More

The formulaic story structure takes away from the solid atmosphere built in the film. Anyone who has watched a few dozen thrillers with double agents will figure out the film’s reveal within a few minutes. Even John Wick was formulaic but the execution set it apart from previous films with similar plots so the clichés didn’t matter. There was also a sense of self-awareness in that movie which is sorely missed in Atomic Blonde which takes itself far too seriously. The tone is relentlessly highbrow when the material it executes is cringe-inducingly low brow, ending in a bland and forgettable cocktail.Visit Site For More

Atomic Blonde has a messy Cold War-era espionage plot that would not have worked at all had it not been for two things — Charlize Theron, and a host of crisply choreographed action sequences.Even with Theron’s considerable contribution, director David Leitch’s first solo feature is, all in all, an above-average action genre flick.Visit Site For More
