The Legend of Hercules Review
The film is a confused mishmash. Some of it looks like 300. Other bits resemble Gladiator. Some of the romance dialogues border between being cringe-worthy and laughable. For a film about Greeks, you'll hear a range of accents, ranging from Scottish to Russian. While some of the effects are alright, the Nemean lion that Hercules battles in one scene looks comical. Hercules, looking like a beefcake at a toga party, starts using his superpowers only towards the end of the film. Too little, too late. Hercules doesn't have a single original moment. Be it the action, the art work, or the special effects, all of it has been done before. There is a serious 300 hang over with the style of shooting the combat scenes. Strictly an average fare, Hercules will only appeal to those who can't enough of the Greek demi gods.Visit Site for more

The Legend of Hercules is just like your average Nicholas Sparks movie: you take two shiny, blonde people (who can't act) from different worlds, who later fall for each other but can never be together since the romance is doomed from the start. The Legend of Hercules is no legend. It is merely a mash up of 300, Gladiator, Troy and pretty much every other film made about ancient Greece. Even though very lousily-scripted, the part when the armies moved as one molding themselves with the shields to protect themselves from the spears and arrows is beautifully choreographed. Kellan Lutz as the mighty Hercules managed to break free from the ‘vampire’ connection and do something more heroic.
