In KARLE PYAAR KARLE effort is to make a hatke love story, hence the team tries to pack just about everything on the shelf: romance [also mandatory songs, skin show and lip locks], adrenaline pumping action, bike stunts et al. However, despite cramming the film with the staple ingredients to woo the spectators, the impact is sorely missing because it appears forced in the scheme of things, instead of seamlessly flowing in the narrative. On the whole, KARLE PYAAR KARLE is a dull and dreary fare!

The film, especially the post-interval portion, completely lacks in comedy. While the romance is not too heart-warming, the emotions don’t touch the heart enough to make the audience cry or feel very bad for the lovers. All in all, the story and screenplay also look dated and heavily inspired by films of the 1990s. On the whole, Karle Pyaar Karle is a dull fare and has some chance in the smaller centres only. Given its fairly high cost, it will find the going at the box-office very tough and will entail heavy losses to all concerned.

Karle Pyaar Karle (KPK) is cinema born in the '80s, rechristened in 2014. While the film has been lavishly mounted because it supports Bollywood's nepotism, practice of a producer (Suneel Darshan) making a show reel for his son ( Shiv Darshan), scant respect is paid to even trying to give you a halfway decent story with contemporary treatment. Instead, you are introduced to Shiv's (Kabir) skills to ride, fight, dance, romance and cry in that order.

Never mind political correctness or even basic human decency, everything goes in Lavasa City. Parents keep abusing/getting abused, kids keep killing people and everyone has guns. Logic gets suspended here as easily as gravity in space and no one has any motivations for their actions. All's well that ends well, and at least this one ends. Period. The only thing that you will be asking yourself after watching Karle Pyaar Karle is maine pyaar kyun kiya? Oh, and Game On!

Director Rajesh Pandey’s Karle Pyaar Karle is not just a bad film. It stinks… big time. The lead pair Shiv Darshan and Hasleen Kaur add to your misery with their irritating presence. The movie has no plot, with a silly bachpan ka pyaar as its theme. The writing, direction, editing, music and performances are bad, beyond description. After watching this disaster, even watching Manmohan Singh giving a speech would be like the climax of a James Bond movie. In a nutshell avoid this haphazardly shot catastrophe.
