Dracula Untold Movie Review

Contrary to the title of the movie, this story aims to tell all that has yet been untold about the 15th century Transylvanian tyrant who had the nasty (for some of the townsfolk who disobeyed him and all of his enemies, that is), habit of skewering their heads on tall stakes. Of course in this film, there are many creative liberties thrown in, not all of them savoury. That aside, this is essentially Evans's vehicle. His version of Dracula is action-oriented rather than horrifying and creepy. And keeping that in mind, he manages, in most parts, to get his teeth into the substance of Count Dracula's legend convincingly enough.Visit Site for more

All that is worth watching as far as Dracula Untold is concerned has been covered in the trailer for the film, including Lorde's sinfully scrumptious Everybody Wants to Rule the World. It must have taken a whole lot of effort, however misdirected, in order to make one of the most fascinating figures in both history and literature, into such a dull personality -- one with all the answers and barely any strong inner conflicts. A film that could have been a genre breaking masterpiece, Dracula Untold in its present form would be a more honest work of art if it were titled Dracula Unfortunately.Visit Site for more
