The film then isn’t unwatchable, but at 2 hours and 35 minutes, it certainly tests your patience. How many times have you ordered a dish that looks terrific photographed in a menu, but disappoints when it shows up on the table? Bang Bang is that kind of meal. I’m going with two out of five.Ratings:3/5 Review By: Meena Iyer Site:Times Of India (TOI)
Siddharth Anand's Bang Bang makes more noise and little sense. But it lacks coherence. Disbelief is writ large on the face, right at the start. Aimed at providing more style than substance, the film makes you comfortably numb in the first 20 minutes itself.Visit Site for more

At the outset, it must be said that the story and screenplay offer hardly anything by way of novelty. But frankly, the other things that the film offers are so, repeat, so overpowering that the audience doesn’t even think about the lack of novelty in the subject. On the whole, Bang Bang! is a super-hit because it offers entertainment galore and has something for everyone. It will break a lot of box-office records and could end up joining the Rs. 200-crore club.Visit Site for more

True to its utterly unimaginative title, Bang Bang makes a hell of a lot of ear-splitting noise. By the end of it all, it manages to produce no more than a croaky, barely palatable whimper. Bang Bang is a slickly mounted but maddeningly muddled thriller that does not quite know how to negotiate the spills that inevitably come with the territory.Visit Site for more

Besides the consistently cringeworthy dialogue, all Bang Bang holds are stunts. He gets into big-budget fixes, sure, with cars and buses and seaplanes, but unlike in the original, where Cruise would actually do something ingenuous to get out of a jam, here conveniently timed coincidences do the job for him. As a result, the stakes never seem significant. This is a stupid, stupid film trying to be slick, a B-grade film made on an A-list budget.Visit Site for more

BANG BANG has really turned out to be escapist cinema at its best! Overall, the film's wide release during the long holiday should definitely work in its favour. Add to that, the popular starcast of the film will ensure that the movie sails through comfortably at the box-office. Another plus point to BANG BANG is that it has the least opposition from HAIDER at the box-office. So, if you are looking high-octane action scenes, sleek visuals, melodious music and if you love masala movies, then BANG BANG should definitely be your pick for this extended weekend.Visit Site for more

Why is Bollywood so chary of the pure, no holds-barred thriller? In case we can’t deal with flying bullets, we are given schmaltzy back-stories of deceased brothers and teary parents. And does the product placement and promotion never end. Hrithik is the film’s eye candy and the prime shooter, all rolled into one, and gives you some amount of bang. The rest is burble.Visit Site for more

If your idea of a fun film is watching two good looking stars running around senselessly for two hours and thirty minutes then go and watch Bang Bang. The makers have put in a lot of money. Is it wasted or well spent, only time will tell. I would suggest you save your hard earned money and watch Bang Bang on TV someday soon.Visit Site for more

Bang Bang is everything that Knight and Day was about and nothing even remotely as exciting as the original. It isn’t bland or boring just doesn’t match up to my expectations of the film. Gorgeous stunts, picturesque locales and a paper thin script might create a watchable film but it won’t be a brilliant or memorable watch. If stunts can sustain you for an entire film, then Bang Bang is a steal. Others might need more than just that to satiate themselves.Visit Site for more
