Much like last week’s Rock On 2, the truth is that Force 2 is a sequel the world could have done without. Delhi Belly director Abhinay Deo, taking over from Nishikant Kamat, brings a slick upgrade to the action, but it’s a mystery why none of the three credited producers thought of investing a little more towards a better script. Force 2 isn’t unwatchable, and it won’t give you a migraine either. But it is a wildly inconsistent film that fills up the gaps between its many action sequences with ridiculous attempts at humor and drama. I’m going with two out of five. Hopefully this franchise ends here.

On the whole, Force 2 has more style and less substance of the convincing type. It will, therefore, not be a force to reckon with at the box-office. Rather, it will entail losses.

Thanks to the fast-paced narrative, Force 2 gives the audience little space to draw away from the hurly-burly, survey the action from a distance and spot holes in the construct. There are several, of course, but because of the power of the action scenes, the film works, if only at a very basic level. It's the sheer predictability of this narrative form that drags Force 2 down a few notches. Be that as it may, it is an entertainer that passes muster. And if you are a John Abraham fan, there can be no reason whatever to give Force 2 a miss.

Abhinay Deo’s Force 2 means business and he’s not subtle about it. It may bill itself as a tribute to the unsung, undercover heroes of India’s Research and Analysis Wing but is mostly a flat out action spectacle where espionage is means for masala and Rumi is messenger of cipher codes. For a good part though, Deo’s headlong pace and high-octane hide & seek investigating the serial killing of RAW agents in China and Hungary works favourably for Force 2,

Packed with decent action and a cliched but gripping narrative, Force 2 comes as a surprise entertainer.Force 2 is surprisingly easily watchable. The film’s action sequences are shot well and those who love to watch John Abraham in his usual rough and tough avatar, will enjoy it.Force 2 is a Bollywood action entertainer. Don’t go with high hopes and you’ll surprise yourself. I am going with a 3!

On the whole, FORCE 2 is a power packed adrenaline pumping action thriller which has the right mixture of zing and force. At the Box-Office, the film will be appreciated by the audience. However the lack of chartbuster music, romance and demonetisation might act as a spoilsport for the movie. All in all, FORCE 2 is however worth a shot!

The narrative is kept straight throughout, sans any convolutions as such. Kudos to writers Parveez Sheikh and Jasmeet K Reen for that. Force 2 has some well-choreographed action sequences with guns blazing in full glory. KK and Yash hardly pause for a breath.Force 2 raises a tricky point. Should RAW agents be named and called martyrs instead of the country washing its hands off them if they're killed in service? Maybe the government will be able to answer that. As for us commoners, Force 2 is a decent one-time watch. Just make sure your ears are seasoned to bear loud noise.

How do you better a sequel to an already successful first part? You start with the writing. Get a gripping narrative, stay true to the genre and present a new story with dollops of nostalgia Force 2 is a great watch mainly because it stays true to its genre and provides ample adrenaline rush. John Abraham is in top form and the film has some of the best action sequences shot this year. Force 2 has loads of bang worth your buck.

The thing that works in Force 2’s favour is pacing. In spite of a familiar story, the action sequences are timed perfectly and executed stylishly. The story is excruciatingly generic. A mastermind has an ulterior motive behind betraying his nation; the heroes must then strike a balance between morality and vengeance. It’s a decent time at the cinema for the thrill-seekers; the action won’t disappoint. Go ahead and may the force be with you!

There’s something incredibly satisfying about a villain, who’s one step ahead of the heroes in a film.Force 2, starring Sonakshi Sinha and John Abraham as undercover agents, score big on that front. The cat and mouse game that the villain plays with the protagonists is snappy, slick and fast-paced. There are well-executed car chases in scenic Eastern Europe, bombastic explosions and enough testosterone flying around to keep you satiated. While that answer may remain elusive, Force 2 is engaging enough to give it a shot.

Force 2 Story:

A gripping storyline, high-octane action and a dash of drama . Set in parts of China, India and Budapest, the story opens when 3 undercover RAW agents are killed in synchronized assassinations across Asia. Tough-as-nails former cop Yash (John Abraham) then sets out to nab the mastermind, who is a mole in the Indian embassy, along with female officer Kiran (Sonakshi Sinha). They are like chalk and cheese with different working styles.
