I cringed more at the lecture-at-the-`mandap’, than in the whole movie which is full of women whose only joy is in getting married, and staying married, regardless of how caddish their man may be. Next time around, because I’m sure there will be an encore, maybe the offense quotient can be lowered, because low IQ jokes can overwhelm anyone, even comedy kings. Kis kisko ignore karoon?

It's all about ENTERTAINMENT these days and Venus and Abbas-Mustan's KisKiskoPyaarKaroon ENTERTAINS you thoroughly. Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon has a quirky plot and the proceedings are equally hilarious, laced with funny situations and enjoyable one-liners. KisKiskoPyaarKaroon marks the big screen debut of Kapil Sharma and must add, he's supremely confident, carrying the film on his shoulders. Laughter is the best medicine, they say and KisKiskoPyaarKaroon offers laughter in generous doses, with an emotional finale. Thumbs Up!

On the whole, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon may not have much newness in the script but it will keep the audience smiling and laughing all through its running time. Masses and families will like the film which will, therefore, prove to be a very comfortable earning proposal for all concerned.

Indeed, the few jokes that do work in this illogical, tardy drivel have more to do with how idiotic they are then amusing. But mostly you cringe at the sight of Kapil posing next to the full moon from a multi-storey's terrace whilst his starry-eyed wives conduct the Karva Chauth ritual for the four-timing half's long life.Or, who knows, potential harem?

Though the returns might be meagre, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon is not the end of the road for Kapil Sharma’s big screen aspirations. But if he hopes for his influence to go beyond the idiot box, he would definitely need to try much harder and look for less idiotic scripts. For masala movie fans, it has admittedly been an awful month at the multiplexes – Welcome Back, Hero, Katti Batti, and now this. Even if one walks into Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon with zero expectation, the film would still be hard pressed to measure up. Verdict: If you have any pyaar to spare, shower it on better fare.

When you watch a Kapil Sharma film with a straight face, you know there's something wrong. Not that he doesn't act well or anything. It's just that his character isn't funny enough as one would have expected. Whatever the reaon, the decision to underplay his comic side (which happens to be his forte) and let drama and romance take center stage, doesn't quite work. Sadly, even the scenes that manage to make you smile here, feature supporting actors, who seem funnier than Kapil.

The best part about this film is the fact that it may be silly and another level of crassness when it comes to adding logic but apart from that it never bores you. If not intentionally, unintentionally you will still have a good laugh. We are familiar with Kapil Sharma’s funny antics and well they reach another level in this film. Every bit of that script is worst than what a juvenile could have written. In its true sense, the film is a brainless comedy.

For the price of a movie ticket, you will be whooshed back to 1990s' Bollywood. From tacky fashion to mansplaining, KKPK has everything that made the Nineties such a ghastly decade in Indian popular culture. The movie will make you say a prayer of thanks that we've left that era behind... until that awful moment when you realise this film was shot in 2014, has been released in 2015 and yet proudly declares that women need marriage like Kapil Sharma needs lip balm. That is, desperately.

Special brownie points to director Abbas-Mustan and screenplay and dialogue writers (Anukalp Goswami, Dheeraj Sarna) for having created an extremely engaging narrative in the first half of the film, which is half the battle won for the film. The second half, which unravels the confusion is totally up to the mark and doesn't drag the story. For this, one has to credit the film's editor (Hussain Burmawalla) for having done a razor-sharp job in the film. There are places where the film's cinematography (Dilshad V A) seems really shaky, but the film's narrative overshadows these flaws. On the whole, KIS KISKO PYAAR KAROON can be watched if you enjoy Kapil Sharma's style of comedy.
