Warning 3D Hindi Movie Review
One expects WARNING to be a scarefest, since the plotline does have potential for several nerve-racking and edge-of-the-seat moments. However, the genre is not tapped to the fullest. There are hardly any nail-biting moments in the first half, although a few episodes in the post-interval portions do make you anxious. What dilutes the impact, however, is the song 'Bebasi' that keeps cropping up sporadically. The writing has its share of highs and lows. If you suffer from hydrophobia, be warned that this story won't keep you buoyant for long. The characters stay in water for most part and all the dramatic deluge happens deep down. The continuous sea shots do make you sea-sick, washing away your attention span. Some off-shore action would have kept the story afloat longer. 'Warning', heavily inspired from Hollywood film 'Open Water 2' with all its highs and lows is a new effort at a waterworld story, but fails to safely swim ashore even with a life-vest.Visit Site for more

What's good: The film is well-shot. The length (under two hours) of this ocean adventure is just right for and packs in all the ingredients of a thriller. The star cast is entirely made up of fresh faces save Manjari Fadnis and they are made to look shiny in swimwear rather than dazzle you in the histrionics department. What's not: The storyline is too thin. It really needed more thrills and chills. For a film advertised as s shark film, and India's first underwater film (didn't Blue do the same?) the shark attacks are tame (or lame). The first half is racy but in the second half offers nothing new. What to do: Don't subscribe to Nat Geo? Then this might be exciting for you.Visit Site for more

The final straw are the songs. Okay, no one sings as they fight the waves. But the songs becalm all action, and we are treated to placid panoramic views of the sky and the sea. There are a couple of scary moments, but no relentless stretches of heart-in-mouth terror, the kind that binds this kind of thriller. Here are top 10 warnings against a 3-D deep sea misadaventure which could have been more accurately titled 'Hum Aapke Hain...Jaws!'Last but not the least: The tortoise-paced temp, the absolutely bizarre finale, and the unconvincing performances (save for the impressive Manjari Phadnis as Lady Romantic) compel you to rush out from the auditorium and drown --your sorrows in drink. What’s Good: The film is rivetingly shot in fabulous locales of Fiji. The thrills are in abundance in the film and you manage to stay hooked till the end. What’s Bad: The film is a straight lift from the popular adventure flick Open Water 2. Watch or Not?: Anubhav Sinha’s Warning is an excruciating drudgery that is plain infuriating as the film moves along. The survival tale of a group stranded mid-sea turns terribly annoying as the bunch of young actors don’t really put up a superlative show. The momentum drops as the screenplay treads forward and the film gives you no heart wrenching moment that you latch on to. Yes, there are enough frights but none unseen, original or impressive. While the first-half is still tolerable, it’s the second-half that proves the real test. If you are able to pack in enough pop-corn and nachos during the interval, then surviving the second half should be achievable. The 3D format only adds to the misery. Towards the latter half, our eyes begin to glaze and it even makes us nauseous! The over-the-top drama and predictable end, the movie is just a lazy rehash of a Hollywood thriller. If you do insist on going to the cinemas, then picking another movie might promise you a ‘happy ending’.So, take a cue from the title of the movie, and stay away from this one!Visit Site for more
