In an attempt not to make these films seem like pure steam fests, the makers usually thrown in a revenge drama angle. So true to the fabric of this franchise, here too there's a suspense drama around some ugly sibling rivalry woven in. However, while the film is good-looking, the plot is convoluted. There's bizarre justification for the poison-ivy women and avaricious despots. But then again, these sequels are about erotica being served piping hot Bollywood style.

Vishal Pandya's Hate Story 3, starring Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan, Karan Singh Grover and Daisy Shah, fails miserably to thrill. And they're calling it an 'erotic thriller'! Hate Story 3 is not the film that you hate when it ends; you hate yourself for venturing out to watch such a film.

There is absolutely nothing to fall in love with in Hate Story 3. It is the tale of two very, very crabby men who hate each other with all their guts and hatch silly conspiracies.It rides on a string of twists and turns that create neither tension nor menace. Worse, they do not even make sense. Yes, Hate Story 3 is that bad. Hate would be a completely wasted emotion here. Do yourself a favour and just ignore Hate Story 3.

It tells us that Bollywood’s idea of an ‘erotic thriller’ is still stuck in some dark age template. The men gnash their teeth and growl. The women are all pneumatically curved out to there, allowing the camera to linger. There are bed bits with generous displays of slithering lingerie on chest-and-thigh, and surprisingly for a time when ‘boldness’ is being dealt with by archaic moral standards, lots of open mouth-and-tongue action. But how about a story?

What’s Good: I’ll have to scratch my head hard for that. Nothing seems to be working for the film. The music is good but a bad placement ruins it. What’s Bad: That’s easy! Cliched revenge drama with little suspense. Overdramatic performances of the complete cast.Watch or Not?: Outrightly not! There are better revenge stories in Bollywood

The veteran film maker Vikram Bhatt is responsible for HATE STORY 3's story and screenplay. And he does a neat job at that (a few plots and sub plots notwithstanding). The story though amateurish has enough twists and turns to keep the viewer hooked. On the whole, HATE STORY has a combo of skin show as well as melodious music which adds tremendous value to the project. This film has the potential to woo the masses and the youth, thus springing a big surprise at the ticket window. The film will turn out to be a profitable venture for its makers.

This boardroom-bedroom drama reserves its erotic appeal for its songs, in which the four leads writhe on sheets (different ones) and gasp and moan with obviously faked pleasure. The rest of the movie is a formulaic and deeply overstretched tale of passion, betrayal and revenge.The songs are available on YouTube, and perhaps a movie of this flimsiness belongs there too.

Ok let me say it as is. In Hate Story 3, there is no sex. It only vexed. Me. Beyond Belief.The previous two films showed women unabashedly seducing men, unapologetically using their bodies and avenging themselves. And that could sexy for some. But Hate Story 3 pits two men against each other. If you are still alive at the end of the film, you would notice a book in apna Bravo’s house. It reads Isaac Newton. That makes perfect sense. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, subtly establishing it as a revenge story. Errr NOT!

“Hate Story 3 is everything what you expect from the movie, except if you have expected a Piku…which means there is something wrong with you! Watching a morning show that’s surprisingly packed with women dominating the numbers more than men, I expected all that was offered in the trailer – a sex and revenge filled drama. The plot is Abbas Mustan meets Vikram Bhatt meets Indecent Proposal.
Hate Story 3 Storyline:
Hate Story 3 is about Aditya and Siya Singh who control the family business after the sad demise of Aditya’s elder brother Vikram. Suddenly, an unknown businessman named Saurav Singhania enters their lives. Saurav, who shows interest in Aditya’s company, makes them an unbelievable offer.
