 Since it's the fourth instalment of the Raaz franchise, it's obvious that the story is in the same vein as the first starring Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea. But this one has zero scares and newbies who make Bipasha and Dino look like 'actors'. This overstretched drama is way too cliched and soppy to hold your interest but it does amuse you in its own unique ways.

 With moderate production values, the film is well-mounted. Manoj Soni's cinematography is worth a mention. He captures the scenic locales in all their glory. And his frames seamlessly merge with the computer generated effects. Overall, Raaz Reboot is mediocre fare and may appeal only to fans of the Raaz franchise.

 Raaz Reboot might still go on to make money, like its predecessors in the franchise. But do we as the Indian audience need to assaulted with such banal, comical horror every single time the Bhatts have some money to make a film? Nope. So if you still go ahead and spend money on a movie like this, you DESERVE more movies like these. And thou shalt not complain about the poor state of horror movies in India.  While the film's first half is slow, the second half picks up with the horror and mystery elements kicking in. However, the film misses the presence of sex element, which is the forte of the Bhatts and movies belonging to this genre.On the whole, RAAZ REBOOT offers an unconventional horror story that will leave you haunted and scared. If you are an enthusiast of supernatural thriller/horror movies, get ready to be shocked and surprised with this one.

 Suck on that, all ye who propagate the use of garlic buds and crosses to defeat blood-sucking vampires. Whether is ‘des’ or ‘vides’, no ‘buri aatmaa’ or plain vanilla ‘bhoots’ can stand up against the might of the ‘mangalsutra’. Or, we must hasten to add, a plaintive ‘sufi’ song. One is enough. Both together can chase anything away from anywhere, including the poor chumps who have paid to be scared.

 Raaz Reboot quite literally is a deja vu of most horror films from Bollywood.Raaz Reboot may be named as a Reboot but there is nothing different in it. Watch it only if you are a fan of Bollywood horror films! Raaz Reboot is a classic fail at coming even little close to scaring you. I need to reboot my memory to have watched this! A 1.5/5 for this one!

 Vikram Bhatt has landed the final nail in the coffin of the Raaz franchise, and that is a massive relief. Why build a 127-minute narrative around false hopes, non-existent sexual frisson, non-scary horror scenes, songs that escape memory, and a plot that relies on the power of the mangal sutra to set things right? Even the Ramsay brothers are more fun than this toothless romp in vampire country.

 Raaz is a series that definitely needs a reboot, but this film is not an answer for that, at least till the interval. Vikram Bhatt uses the same tropes to scare us that we have seen in all the films till now, to the point that we can guess when the paranormal entity makes his/her appearance next. It also doesn’t help matters that.the romantic songs feel forcibly interspersed in the narrative, because, you know, that’s the tradition when it comes to Bollywood horror flicks. Some of the scenes, which were supposed to scare us, looks laughable.
