Director Bobby Khan amps up the oomph quotient, helping Sunny pull a character than demands a steady performance. And to be fair, she has delivered her most earnest act so far. She has worked on her linguistic skills seriously and can emote a lot better than before. The men are good but Rajneesh Duggal has the most palpable chemistry with Sunny. Mohit Ahlawat and Jay Bhanushali are good and Jas Arora's vamp act was wicked. You might guffaw at a few scenes because the film isn't exactly an epitome of logical thinking. But as an entertainer, it's colourful, crisp and convivial.

Though there are more flaws in the film’s execution, at the heart of it Leela is a genuinely intriguing, if slightly predictable story and the twist at the end could have been a game changer had it been played out better.Nevertheless, critical analysis is not going to make much of a difference for this film is clearly a one woman show and as far as the film is concerned, it is always Sunny in Rajasthan.

On the whole, for the budget at which Ek Paheli Leela is made, it is entertaining and eye-filling. It has abundant sex and skin show, hit music, beautiful locations and colourful costumes, all of which make it a fine audio-visual presentation. It will prove to be a plus fare because of its medium investmenton the one hand and its fairly good initial on the other.

That is the vein in which this vapid yarn about love, desire and obsession unfolds against good-looking backgrounds, competently filmed by cinematographer Bashalal Syed.But the pretty frames and the buxom female protagonist work at cross-purposes. They come in each other's way.What you choose to focus on - the sexy siren who apes everybody from Zeenat Aman to Aishwarya Rai or the visual compositions that caress the natural beauty of the locales - will determine what impact Ek Paheli Leela will have on you.Feel free to have your pick. But to be honest, spare yourself the trouble. Ek Paheli Leela is simply not worth it.

It's an unapologetic attempt at riding (even cashing in) on Sunny's oomph quotient. Ek Paheli Leela is regressive, illogical and completely dependent on Sunny Leone. She looks stunning and dances pretty well, but that much was also available on YouTube. Where is the film?

From as many angles as possible, the closer the better? Who gave India’s Babydoll reason to believe that she could go beyond ‘sone di and pittal di’ with this bilge?Wh.. Ah, hang it. One last, and I’m done playing twenty questions. All I really want to know is, who will give me my three precious hours back? Zero star

The film's music (Meet Bros Anjjan, Amaal Mallik, Dr. Zeus, Tony Kakkar, Uzair Jaswal) is already a rage with a couple of outstanding tracks. While the film's cinematography (Basha Lal) and screenplay (Jojo Khan) are top-class, the film's dialogues (Bunty Rathore) are decent. The locations of the shoot are superlative and are presented really well. Brownie points to the costume designers for designing such fabulous costumes. On the whole, EK PAHELI LEELA is worth watching, purely because of Sunny Leone and the way she has been presented… like never before!!!

‘Ek Paheli Leela’ is a voluptuous feast for the eyes, and I am not only referring to the film's heroine who is supremely confident in her skin. It's the aura of the film. Stunningly mounted and sumptuously narrated, "Ek Paheli Leela" is a feast for the senses. Basha Lal's camera caresses Ms Leone's assets and the sand dunes of Jaisalmer with equal affection.Sunny Leone fills up the screen with her voluptuous presence. It moves forward with confident steps creating a world of unabashed makebelieve. And yes, the twist in the climax is jolting. It may not be revolutionary in concept or path-breaking in execution. But make no mistake. ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ is the surprise of the year.
