What the Fish Movie Review
On the whole, WHAT THE FISH is just another one of the mass-produced comedy dramas that work with the audience when they are in a group. Unfortunately, when watching the film, one can't help but wonder what the title, WHAT THE FISH, really means and how does the film derive such a title for a seemingly comic storyline.Visit Site for more

. The aim of the writers is to tickle the audience’s funny bone but rarely do they succeed because the incidents serve to irritate more than entertain. Gurmmeet Singh’s direction is ordinary. His narrative style does not succeed in keeping the audience’s interest alive for too long. Of course, the weak script is also to be blamed. On the whole, What The Fish will meet with a disastrous fate at the ticket windows.Visit Site for more

What the Fish has a promising premise and an intriguing start but runs out of steam way too soon. A few minutes into the movie and you'd already guess what the climax could be. The non-linear narrative manages to engage you in the beginning but lack of humour and interesting characters make the execution look a tad tiresome and repetitive. The 'idea' behind the movie can be appreciated for its novelty but it fails to develop into a full-fledged comedy of errors, which was the intention. If you like funny movies, there are plenty more fish in the sea.Visit Site for more

It’s rare to see a Hindi film bereft of a heroic character, and not just does this film not have a singular true protagonist, but it features a slew of exclusively selfish characters, almost all of whom lamentably take the aforementioned fish for granted. It’s one thing for moronic characters to take a fish for granted, but entirely -- and unforgivably -- another for a director to do the same with this audience. Fry it again, director.Visit Site for more

This is yet another in the line of the Quirky Delhi Film, a genre that has long run out of steam. The novelty lasts for a few minutes. After which it's all downhill. Dimple Kapadia is completely capable of carrying a film on her own: remember 'Leela', in which she is a credible middle-aged woman in search of herself? Here, she's a sad caricature of a loud Dilli aunty, and she's all wrongly played for the part. Rishi and Singh try to grab a few moments but are wasted.Visit Site for more

When a film is titled What The Fish, it reads aloud the cue for you to make a dash for the next film-viewing option. An absolutely lame and ridiculous film barring Dimple Kapadia’s scorching screen presence, it makes no pretense about being utterly stupid. It is an empty film with no thrill, no excitement and mostly no funVisit Site for more
